Lindsay Kulig, Title 1This is my 9th year teaching (7th year at MT). I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a mathematics minor. I then went to get my reading endorsement from Drake University. This past year i received my masters in education with a literacy emphasis. I have two boys which are 3 and 6 years old. Thank you for entrusting me with your children and I assure you that I will treat them as if they were my own.

Kim Lewis, A.I.This is my 18th year in education. This is my fourth year at Mark Twain. I graduated from St. Ambrose University and I completed my Master's degree there as well. I have 2 children. A 16 year old boy(Cade) and an 12 year old girl (McKenna). I have always been passionate about education. Being in this field gives me the opportunity to have a positive impact on students everyday, for that I am thankful.

The Coaches
Sarah Price, Literacy Coach
This is my second year at Mark Twain Elementary. Previously, I taught 3rd grade in Clinton for eight years. I graduated from Loras College with degrees in Elementary and Physical Education as well as endorsements in reading and coaching. In 2011, I received my Master's Degree in Reading from Western Illinois University. My role as Literacy Coach is to support teachers with implementation of effective instructional practices, with the overall goal of improving student achievement. Currently, I live in Bettendorf with my husband and 3 children (Brooks, 6; Grady, 4; and Brinlee 1). |
Ryan King, Instructional Coach
This is my fourth year at Mark Twain. I previously spent six years teaching in both 4th and 5th grades at the Central-Clinton Community School District. I am a graduate of St. Ambrose University with a degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading, Language Arts and Social Studies. I received my Master's Degree in Reading from Western Illinois University. I have spent my four years in this building working within interventions, as a Literacy Coach and for the last two years as an Instructional Coach. I live with my amazing wife, Ashly, and two wonderful children (Finn, 3; and Oliver: 1) here in Bettendorf. |
